D.O.T. Physical Exam

The D.OT physical exam is required for drivers who operate commercial or non-commercial vehicles. This exam ensures drivers meet federal medical standards to safely operate commercial vehicles and maintain safe roads.

During your exam, a certified medical examiner will review your Medical History

  • The exam includes a check of vision; hearing, blood pressure, and other body systems related to overall physical health.

  • A routine urinalysis is a requirement of each DOT exam. Note: this is not a drug test.

What to bring to your DOT physical

Drivers should bring:

  • Driver’s license

  • List of prescription medications

  • Glasses or hearing aids if used

  • Medical records for existing conditions (if applicable)

D.O.T. Physical + Drug Test
